Summer Job Blues
Well I just arrived home from my soul crushing summer job as a waitress at a local restaurant. As usual my shift was full of loads of excitement dealing with customers who take so long deciding what they would like to drink that you would think it were a life or death situation. I have worked at this same restaurant since my junior year in high school (though I hate the job), and I have been asked many dumb questions before but today may have topped them all. A middle ages woman and her husband came in today and sat down at the corner table. I approached them and took there drink orders and proceeded to take there order. They both wanted spaghetti, and here is where the mind blowing dumb question comes; the lady asked me what was in a meatball. Maybe I'm missing something but as I tried to explain to her the makings of a meatball without being sarcastic, I just find it hard to believe that this woman actually didn't know this. Anyways, the Yankees start off their series against the Nationals today and I hope anyone who follows baseball will agree with me that if they don't sweep the Nationals in this series then some paper bags will need to be purchased to but over their heads. The Nationals record is 16-45 after all. Until the game starts though, I guess I will stay inside today due to the fact the weather is crappy, and try not to murder my 2 younger sisters who fight over everything; and when I say everything I mean it they have fought over a stick they found in the yard one time (no lie).
